The Orioles head to New York tonight to take on the Yankees in the playoffs for the first time since 1996, one day after the 16 year anniversary of the Tony Tarasco/Jeffrey Maier incident. Baltimore proved to be ready for this playoff run with their playoff home game since 1997 on Sunday 10/8/12. Only time will tell if Birdland gets its redemption this season.
