How Redskins Lose to Bucs (FAN SUBMISSION)

*This is Marcus from College Park’s second FAN SUBMISSION.  Follow him on twitter @MarcusSports1No, this column is not about a detail of how Washington will lose Sunday afternoon at Raymond James Stadium.  It’s all about the “Why” the Burgundy and Gold should win and win big!

The Bucs are only three games into a first year, rebuilding process, which includes an entire coaching staff.  Their Head Coach will be leading an NFL team onto the field for the fourth time in his “Big League Career.”  Go Rutgers! Go Coach CheeseEano; who is also making quite a name for himself, tearing up the unwritten rules of NFL Etiquette?  Shouldn’t the “Brain Trust” in Ashburn be able to tactically win this game with a superior game plan, on the field execution and real time, in the moment adjustments?  After all, the senior Shanahan has two Super Bowl Victories on his résumé.  Did Rutgers win the National Championship?  I ask you, “Is there any way Washington can be out coached in this game?”

The fan base in Tampa has disappeared; Sunday’s game will be blacked out in Tampa. Surprised?  Incredibly this is number 20 of the last 23 Bucs home games to be blacked out!  Seventy-two hours before the game with Washington, the game was 44,000 tickets short of the threshold to televise the game; the stadium only seats 65,800 fans! Most Bucs fans wish the networks would black out the road games as well.

So here’s a road game opportunity, if Washington plays well early, the few fans that are at the game will be reduced to Tampa Bay Boo Birds.  Additionally, Washington’s offense shouldn’t experience the disruption of large crowd noise at the offensive line when calling signals. When you examine the Shanahan record at home and uncover a dismal 4-13 record in Landover, this road game set up perfectly for him (and his Whiz Kid protégé).  Not to mention, former Tampa Bay Skipper, Raheem Morris returning to exact revenge, like a woman scorned.

Look at the Washington’s NFL points leading offense.  Shouldn’t RG3 and Company be able to outscore a Tampa team determined to run the football?  There’s no way Tampa QB, Josh Freeman could possibly “out sling” Superstar in the making RG3, right?

Washington has a major opportunity to regain its footing on the road, get back to .500 footballs and possibly escape the NFC East cellar. This early in the season most would question the wisdom of considering Game 4 a must win.  Don’t!  If Washington returns from Tampa 1-3 to face the Atlanta Falcons; I don’t need to explain the rest.

This game Sunday is a measure of two rebuilding teams; including the players and more importantly coaching staff’s and organizational skill.  If Washington isn’t able to show their franchise is further along than Tampa Bay’s, maybe we’ll be the fans rooting for the Black Outs.
